Conceived as a haven of relaxation and contemporary style, Alila Jakarta offers a cool, modern retreat for young urbanites and executives. The hotel’s clean, modern lines embrace an abstract-minimalist interior. The name Alila comes from Sanskrit meaning ‘surprise’, which suitably describes the refreshing character of the hotel and the reaction of most guests. This concept sets a trend for the city and is in keeping with the emergent energy of Jakarta.

Aside from Alila Jakarta in-room amenities, the hotel facilities are expectedly extensive. The eclectic buzz Café serves International menu from an open kitchen while the Space Lounge provides a quiet spot for sipping cocktails. For health and fitness mybodygym and mybodyspa with a swimming pool complete the range of leisure services. Executives are well served by the business centre and a choice of seven meeting rooms with capacities for up to 500 people.

Each of Alila Jakarta's 215 rooms, suites and apartments feature parquet floors, high-speed internet access, and breathtaking views over Jakarta. All rooms are designed in modern architecture with stylish simplicity and convenience.

There are 55 Executive and 122 Deluxe Rooms at 30 sqm each, overlooking the Presidential Palace, government ministries and historical landmarks in Jakarta. Just launched in mid 2005 are 19 Executive Ladies rooms on the 15th floor.

Suites: 12 Executive Suites (53 sqm), 1 Club Suite (61 sqm). Two magnificent Alila Suite at 83sqm each and 4 apartments at 174 sqm, with a separate living area and internet services as well as DVD players complemented by a kitchenette and a large bathtub for two, in a glass walled bathroom.
