Mount Batur : A volcano within a volcano
The villages of Kintamani and Penelokan provide a great view of the still active Mount Batur and its fantastic lake. Seven miles in diameter and sixty feet deep, Batur caldera is simply outstanding.   A classic tour of Bali. Commenced with a stop at the stone carving village of Batu Bulan, where you will assist to a traditional Balinese performance of Barong and Kris dance, the journey will proceed to the artisan villages of Celuk and Mas, known for its delicate silver jewellery production and the exquisite wood carvings respectively. Visit the wonderful holy spring temple of Gunung Kawi at the village of Sebatu which sacred water is believed to posses a healing power and used in rites of purification and excorcism.
The highlight of the day is the breathtaking panorama of the still active mount Batur at Kintamani. Tens of thousands of years of geological activities have created this natural phenomena.
