4 Days ORANG UTAN Explorer

Discover Central Kalimantan, visit the Orang utan National Park / Tanjung Puting National Park. See the Orang Utan ( Pongo pygmeus ) and other wildlife; agile gibbons, black handed gibbons (hylobates agilis), gray gibbons, proboscis monkeys, crab-eating macagues, larges dragonflies, a several large birds such as hornbilis, eagles & kingfishers, etc.

DAY 01: ARRIVE PANGKALAN BUN – RIMBA LODGE
On arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service and followed by a transfer to Kumai seaport. On board the boat, cruise along Kumai River to reach Seikonyer River in the area of Tanjung Puting National Park. After around 2 hours cruise, arrive at Rimba Lodge, and at 04.30 pm take an excursion to observe Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight.

DAY 02-03: CAMP LEAKY EXCURSION
After breakfast, proceed upstream into Camp Leaky area with opportunity to see birds and primates along the way. On arrival at Camp Leaky, trekking along the rain forest covers around 300’000 ha and straddles several forest types, including swamp forest, heath forest and lowland rainforest. Return to the boat for lunch, and then attend the Orang Utan feeding program at around 14.30. The feeder will lead us to the stage platform in enable to get an interaction with the Orang Utan. Back to the boat and downstream to Rimba Lodge for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 04: RIMBA LODGE – KUMAI – OUT
Breakfast at hotel, then boat trip back to Kumai. On arrival, direct transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
