3 Days Cultural YOGYAKARTA

Yogyakarta is one of the last intact Javanese Empire in Indonesia, with the Sultanate still hold jurisdiction. The Sultan's Palace is the hub of Yogyakarta's traditional life and, despite the advance of modernity, still emanates the spirit of refinement, which has been the hallmark of Yogya's culture for centuries. Yogya is center of Javanese arts and culture, as well as a historically rich and important city.

DAY 01: ARRIVE YOGYAKARTA
Upon arrival at Adi Sucipto Airport of Jogjakarta, meeting service and transfer to the hotel for your accommodation.

DAY 02: YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast at hotel. Full day trip to the world famous Borobudur temple, passes the village of Muntilan which is famous for its stone carvings. Borobudur temple is the greatest of all Indonesian monuments, around 1200 years old, this is the world’s largest Buddhist monument. Over the centuries it became buried under jungle growth and volcanic ash. A massive restoration project has delivered Borobudur to its former glory. The visit will continue to the nearby Pawon & Mendut temples, then return to the city for lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Kraton of Jogja (Sultan’s Palace), batik home industry, Kotagede silverworks, and “Wayang Kulit” leather puppet exhibition show. Overnight.

DAY 03: YOGYAKARTA – OUT
After breakfast, take a visit to the most impressive Prambanan temple, where restoration project has corrected centuries of neglect, and today the privileged visitor can once more experience the glorious symmetry, grace and wealth of sculptural detail. Transfer to the airport for flight to next destination.
